LIFE Programme
The LIFE Programme refers to our unique and holistic approach to personal development at Bishops’.
The acronym LIFE stands for ‘Life in all its fullness for everyone’. The programme enables us to realise our vision which is based upon Jesus’ promise in John 10: 10 to bring ‘life in all its fullness’.
The LIFE Programme places the personal and spiritual development of our young people at the very centre of our school life. It incorporates a wide range of activities that help our students grow into well-rounded individuals who can flourish both now and in the future and make a positive difference in their world. These activities include:

The Bishops’ LIFE Programme has been informed by and is compliant with a range of key statutory and non-statutory frameworks. These include both government and Church-based guidance documents relating to SMSC, Character development, PSHE and RSE, CEIAG, British Values and Citizenship.
The LIFE Programme at Bishops’ has also been informed by consultation with key stakeholders, including parents, staff and students themselves. This ensures that our programme is relevant to our specific context and fit for purpose.
