Welcome to Bishops' Sixth Form

At Bishops’ Blue Coat CofE High School students can choose from a wide range of A Levels and a selection of successful Level 3 courses.  These are complemented by an enrichment programme that prepares students for life in modern Britain, further study and future pathways.

Sixth Form life at Bishops’ is challenging, enriching, worthwhile and welcoming. We take delight in the positive working relationships, which develop between students, staff and parents. The Christian family atmosphere and the caring community that we foster enables our students to develop a sense of worth and show responsibility and leadership.

We take great care to ensure that a student’s course makes the most of their strengths and enables them to move on successfully. We seek to ensure that our Sixth Form provides a well-equipped, studious environment that is conducive to independent learning.  The courses we offer are taught by well-qualified, highly experienced and dedicated teachers. Our record of examination achievement is a source of pride as is our excellent record of placing students on the course and in the university of their choice.

Our strong tutor team is familiar with the changing opportunities and expectations of higher education and we provide expert guidance in this area. In addition, we give bespoke support to students in preparing the best possible application not only for university, but also for further education or employment.
