As Deputy Headteacher – Quality of Education, you will provide strategic leadership for curriculum, teaching, assessment and achievement, ensuring consistently high standards across all subjects and year groups, and strong outcomes for all pupils.  

This is a significant whole‑school role, offering the opportunity to:  

• Lead and shape the Quality of Education strategy in a large, successful secondary school  
• Work with leaders to ensure curriculum and teaching continually evolve in response to evidence of pupil learning  
• Secure excellent outcomes, particularly for disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND  
• Develop and support curriculum and senior leaders  
• Contribute to the overall strategic leadership and direction of the school  
• Contribute to the overall strategic leadership and direction of the school, including acting as Deputy to the Headteacher where required

8.30am to 4.30pm Monday-Thursday and 8.30am to 4.00pm Friday
Holidays: 26 days plus bank holidays
Salary: £15,434 plus optional memberships of the local government pension scheme

We wish to appoint a reliable, enthusiastic and motivated General Administration and Data Apprentice to join our busy and supportive team.

The successful candidate will provide an efficient, day‑to‑day administrative and data support service across the school, assisting staff with routine administrative tasks, data input, record keeping and the maintenance of accurate systems and databases. This role will support the smooth running of office processes and contribute to effective communication and organisation throughout the school.

As an apprentice role, this position offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills, gain hands‑on experience and work towards a recognised qualification in administration and data handling within a professional educational environment.

This is a key role for someone who is organised, keen to learn and committed to delivering high‑quality administrative support as part of a team.

In this role, you will work towards your Level 3 Data and Business Insights qualification, delivered by the expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

We are proud of our inclusive culture, strong outcomes and ambitious approach to continuous improvement, and we are now seeking to appoint an experienced and highly skilled Assistant Business Manager to support the next phase of our development.

This is a new role, strengthening business leadership capacity within the school. The postholder will work alongside and deputise for the Business Manager / Chief Finance Officer, whose working pattern is changing as part of a planned transition towards retirement, ensuring continuity, stability and succession within the school’s business leadership. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that the school’s resources are managed effectively, efficiently and in line with statutory and regulatory requirements, enabling the school to deliver outstanding educational outcomes. The role provides significant development and strategic experience; however, any future senior appointments will be subject to the school’s normal recruitment and selection processes.
