Within the Sixth Form careers preparation and guidance plays a big part in what we do, as we nurture and guide students to life beyond Sixth From. Activities range from attending the UCAS Convention in Manchester, visiting universities such as Bangor and Edge Hill and completing work experience at the end of Year 12.

Sixth From students not only have access to the wealth of knowledge and experience of the Sixth Form team but also from the school’s Careers Advisor.

In the June of Year 12, we hold our two-day ‘Post 18’ Event where a range of employers come and speak to students about their field and opportunities available to them. These range from apprenticeship opportunities with international companies to careers with healthcare and much more.

No matter what your chosen pathway, you will receive individualised support with applications to enable you to go on to your chosen destination.
