COVID 19 implications for current cohort

Monday 23^rd March: The Bishops’ Blue Coat CoE High School and Sixth Form closed due to government guidelines.

For year 12 students staff were required to upload online work and resources for students for remote learning, however no “live lessons” took place until June. From 8^th June Year 12 returned for 1 session per week in their tutor groups which focussed on their mindset and wellbeing post lockdown as well as post 18 careers information and application support rather than anything subject specific – in addition to this each student received 2 hours of “live” teaching through Microsoft teams for each of their subjects which continued to closely follow the subject specification and a number of remote learning independent learning tasks which were also issued online.
