Ofsted
We have welcomed parents, diocese and Cheshire West colleagues’ congratulations as we look to 2020 and the future, guided by our Ofsted report and educational values.
There are many areas of the report worthy of rereading! The whole school community will recognise;
‘Staff across the school have high expectations of pupils. They expect every pupil to try their best. Pupils take pride in their work. They are polite and courteous. Pupils behave well during lessons and around the school”.

We aim to know, nurture and inspire our students to be the best version of themselves through a better understanding of the Christian faith and a rich set of opportunities. Our community supports the initiative, drive and resilience our children need to live ‘life in all its fullness.’ (John 10:10).
The Ofsted team certainly recognised the hard work of parents, staff and students as they judged all areas to be Good or in the case of Personal Development, Outstanding. To celebrate our success students may already have noticed a change to the lanyards our school staff wear. ‘Outstanding development of each individual’ is woven into the fabric of our school from work within the classroom to the opportunities students experience from visiting speakers, work experience, breakfast seminars, assemblies and much more. Students from Bishops’ are equipped very well for life in modern Britain.
