Required for September 2023

The governors, staff and students are looking to appoint an inspirational and passionate leader to join our successful and expanding Church of England High School. Working closely with the Leadership Team, staff and governors, the successful candidate will have oversight of the pastoral areas across the school and will be responsible for the strategic development of all areas linked to Safeguarding, and Behaviour and Attitudes. We are looking for someone who is known for driving improvement and standards in pastoral care, who is passionate about removing disadvantage and nurtures ambition.

The person appointed will be an excellent teacher and communicator, be able to offer encouragement and inspire confidence in all stakeholders and motivate learners to achieve the highest outcomes. You will be a very effective leader who is able to think strategically and deliver good outcomes. This post would ideally suit a current Deputy Headteacher looking to move to a larger school or someone who has gained extensive experience as a Senior Leader in a secondary school.​
